PRESS RELEASE | FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | Nelson Engineering Co. received a prime contract award for the NASA Southeast Regional Architect and Engineering Services Contract (SERAE). The work consists of architectural and engineering services for the “design and delivery of professional services necessary to rehabilitate, modernize, and develop new or existing infrastructure and facilities.” The SERAE contract is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract with a maximum potential value not to exceed $300 million. The contract began on September 10, 2021, with a five-year ordering period.
This significant contract extends Nelson Engineering’s prime contracting opportunities within NASA and spans multiple NASA locations:
- Kennedy Space Center, FL
- Johnson Space Center, TX including the Sonny Carter Training Facility and Ellington Field
- White Sands Test Facility, NM
- Marshall Space Flight Center, AL
- Michoud Assembly Facility, LA
- Stennis Space Center, MS
- Other NASA assets, launch, and landing sites worldwide.
